- Mark DeVol replaced the light bulbs in the fan with compact fluorescent lamps. It seemed to cut down on the heat in the room, but they were too bright. Removing one of the four lamps seemed to help.
- Once again a straight flush lost to five of a kind in a wild card game.
- Jeff brought two big bottles of Captain Morgan.
- The American League won the All-Star Game. Again.
