Mark DeVol introduced enhanced poker chips that featured Card Night players’ pictures in the design.
Paul seemed to like them, but he said he didn’t care for the white color of the one-dollar chips. He said he had gotten used to the black one-dollar chips.
Mark pointed out that they weren’t new chips. They were the same chips we’ve been using for five years, just with players’ pictures now on them. The one-dollar chips have been white for five years.
During a round of Happy Pineapple (Crazy Pineapple Hi-Lo Declare), Mary made four-of-a-kind jacks, but she did not win jackpot because one of the jacks was in the hole and the other three were on the board. (Recall that the Omaha jackpot rule also applies to Pineapple, i.e., two of the four-of-a-kind must be the player’s hole cards.) However, that rule doesn’t apply to straight flushes, and moments later, still playing Happy Pineapple, Paul made a king-high straight flush with just the queen of hearts in the hole.
