During a hand of Stud 8, it came down to Mary and Glen. After the final betting round, Glen announced he had a flush.
What he failed to announce was that he also had a 6-high for low.
But what he really failed to announce was that he also had a 6-high straight flush for a jackpot win.
“I didn’t even see it,” said Glen.
Maybe that’s why Glen never wins jackpot.
Mike Stefanidis told everyone that he doesn’t come to Card Night to win; he comes to Card Night for the action.
Despite that, Mike chose to leave early after losing a big Omaha Hi-Lo pot. It’s the second time this month Mike has left Card Night early.
Mike and Jeff tied for losing the most tonight ($74.00). It’s the third time in recorded Card Night history that two people tied for the biggest loss of the night. (Phil and Glen both lost $60.00 on 08-Jun-2010. Warren and Jason both lost $46.00 on 09-Sep-2008.)
Coincidentally, three is also the number of times two people have tied for the biggest win of the night. (Mark DeVol and Paul both won $28.00 on 12-Jun-2007. Mark and Mike both won $58.00 on 15-Nov-2005. Paul and Mike both won $34.00 on 19-Apr-2005.)
