One of the greatest games in World Series history was on the TV as jackpot fever took over Card Night once again.
It seemed like every hand, at least one player was “one card away” from hitting jackpot.
The best moment, though, came early in the night on a hand of Texas Hold ’em. Paul had pocket 7s, and when a 7 came on the flop, he bet. Jeff, the only other player in the hand, folded. Hand over. Paul said, “Why did I do that?” Rabbit hunting revealed Paul would have made quad 7s on the river and taken down over an $80.00 jackpot payout.
And thanks to that, for the ninth Card Night in a row, no one won jackpot. It now stands at $188.00.
Mark D | ‑$66.00 |
Mary | ‑$102.00 |
Paul | +$32.00 |
Phil | +$74.00 |
Jeff | ‑$10.00 |
Glen | +$52.00 |
Jackpot is now $188.00.
