After Mark DeVol and Bill split a pot, and pretty much only got back what they had contributed to it, Glen said, “It’s like licking your dog’s balls.”
Now, we had all heard the expression “It’s like kissing your sister” in such situations, but never “It’s like licking your dog’s balls.” And Mark and Bill agreed that just getting your money back was definitely not like licking your dog’s balls.

On a hand of Omaha Hi-Lo, the turn made the board 10-4-9-4. Mary, Mark DeVol, and Bill were still in the hand, and everyone checked.
The river was a 10. Mark bet. Bill raised. Mark looked at the board for quite a while, and then re-raised. Bill capped it.
Mark was sure he and Bill were going to tie with 10-9 in each of their hands based on the action. But Bill turned over slow-played quad 4s to take down a big pot and his third jackpot of the year.
