During a hand of Razzdugi (where the best low hand splits the pot with the best four-card Badugi) it came down to showdown between Bill and Mary. Neither one of them had a four-card Badugi, so whoever had the better low hand would win.
Bill had a full house, so he had to play a pair in his five-card low hand. Mary had three pairs, so she also had to play a pair in her five-card low hand. Bill ended up winning with a pair of 2s against Mary’s pair of 4s. It’s the first time in Card Night history that a player has won showdown in a seven-card low-ball game with a pair.
