Bill brought a big bunch of bratwursts for us to bite. It was much appreciated by those of us who hadn’t had dinner yet.
The “7-high or lower” 2-11 Poker rule that messed up Bill last week messed up Troy this week. On a couple hands, he inadvertently stayed in for low with 8-high.
Violet didn’t notice that she had a flush in Omaha Hi-Lo and folded the winning hand.
The deal went around the table exactly once tonight (i.e., everyone got to call exactly one game).
Troy commented to Mark DeVol, “You seem to be folding quite a bit tonight.”
Mark asked, “More than I usually do?”
Troy said, “Yeah, and when you have stayed in, you’ve hit big hands.”
“Huh,” said Mark. “It almost sounds like a good way to play poker.”
