Have we mentioned that Glen is the hot player right now? Tonight he recorded his ninth Card Night win in a row. And those nine wins haven’t been paltry. The lowest was $24.00, and three of them have been over $100.00. Combined they total $581.00.
Meanwhile, Bill finally had a losing session (-$37.00), his first for 2009.
Paul was angry with himself after a hand of 7½-21½. Lyndon had stopped taking cards with a 7 and a face card showing, while Mark DeVol had stopped with A-6-9 showing. Paul was sitting on a 6½. Instead of of just stopping as well, Paul decided to take another card. He ended up hitting all the way to 23 (calling Lyndon’s dollar bet each time he took a card) and lost high to Mark’s 22. If he had stayed with his 6½, he would have beaten Lyndon, who ended up having 8½ for low.
We opened up Mary’s Doritos Late Night Tacos at Midnight that she had brought the previous Card Night. They weren’t bad. Not really spicy, but with a strong flavor.
