One pot that helped Bill set that record was on a hand of Pass the Buck Hi-Lo Declare with Down-Cards Wild. At showdown it was just Bill and Glen left. Glenn had J-J-J-4 up, and it was clear he also had a jack in the hole based on the way he had played the hand. Bill had 2-3-4-4 up. Glenn ended up going both ways (with the wheel for low and five 4s for high), but Bill went low only and revealed the case 4 down for a wheel as well. Since a player can’t win both ways if he ties another player, Bill scooped a big pot. (Glenn did win a small $7.25 jackpot as a “consolation”.)
