Jason returned to our poker table after being away for over a year. A new daughter was the excuse for his absence. Congratulations!
Jason was riding a four-Card Night winning streak, and it looked like he was going to pick up where he left off. Some big pots at the beginning of our session filled his stack with plenty of $5 chips… but slowly and surely that stack dwindled, until Jason finished with a $75.00 loss.
On a hand of Omaha Hi-Lo, the board produced four 8s. Had we been playing Texas Hold ’em, all players who stayed till showdown would have split jackpot. (Paul won the hand when his 8s-full-of-7s beat Phil’s 8s-full-of-2s.)
