Card Night 05-May-2009

A modest $13.00 loss tonight finally marked the end of Glen’s ten-Card Night winning streak.  But he has racked up some impressive numbers:

  • He leads all players for 2009 with a winning total of $552.00, nearly two hundred dollars more than his closest competition Bill.  In the history of Card Night, no other player has been up that much this early in the year.
  • His all-time average Card Night result is +$15.79 (the current record holder).  His 2009 average Card Night result is +$36.80.  (Bill is highest for 2009 average Card Night result with +$41.11.)
  • Glen’s all-time Card Night win-loss record is 13-11.  (Prior to his ten-night winning streak it was 3-10.)
  • During his streak, he averaged +$63.90 a night.

Mike was dealt 7-7-7-7 in Omaha Hi-Lo, a terrible hand and of course no jackpot.  The only other time a player has been dealt four-of-a-kind in Omaha Hi-Lo was when Ike was dealt A-A-A-A.  Ike wasn’t quite familiar with the rules and bet super aggressively all the way to the river.  He ended up winning the hand when the board made trips!

Lyndon was dead even tonight, making it two Card Nights in a row.  No one’s ever done that before.

Mark D +$16.00
Mary ‑$100.00
Paul +$86.00
Lyndon $0.00
Jason +$21.00
Mike S +$5.00
Glen ‑$13.00
