Tonight saw the surprise return of Frank and the introduction of a new player, Matt.
Both Frank and Matt had winning nights, giving them both a perfect record for 2006. The bulk of Frank’s money came from an Omaha Hi-Lo pot where he flopped a big full house and also ended up with the nut low. Matt had a big comeback when he took down a $40.00+ pot in Bill’s game Buck ’em with a measly two pair.
Mary and Frank were obviously guilty of collusion several times when Mary raised for no reason and Frank won the pot. Mike Stefanidis suggested to Mark DeVol that they try the same thing, seeing as they have also slept together.
Blog Fodder had a relatively quiet night as he slowly hemorrhaged money to become the big loser. He never lost any big hands; he just wasn’t getting cards. (The fact that Mike Coyne’s Buddha was sitting right behind him was probably not a coincidence.)
In a bit of a surprise, Kansas City once again beat Denver 19-10.
