The Curse of Warren’s Chair
When Warren attends Card Night, he always sits in the chair right in front of the Pooyan machine. When he’s not in attendance, the chair is randomly assigned to some other player.
Lately, it appears that the chair is cursed.
For two weeks in a row, on July 28 and August 4, Bill sat in Warren’s chair. He lost $154.00 the first week and $99.00 the second.
Tonight, Mike sat in Warren’s chair. He lost $72.00.
Who amongst us has the power to survive the Curse of Warren’s Chair?
Mark DeVol randomly assigns seats to everyone before they arrive.
Mike suggested that from now on when a player arrives at Card Night, he should pick a number out of a bucket to determine where he’ll sit.
Bill then suggested that as players arrive they simply choose where they’re going to sit. That way, people would be motivated to show up on time. (Fat chance.)
Glen still hasn’t won jackpot. Tonight he said he folded a hand in Omaha Hi-Lo that would have resulted in a jackpot win for him.
