We had to turn away four players tonight because we were already full with eight. Sorry to those that couldn’t play, but it’s nice to be able to fill the table these days.
Lyndon was having a so-so night until the last half hour. That’s when he won a Buck ’em pot over $50.00, then scooped two full-kill Omaha Hi-Lo pots. (Just to be clear: He scooped. There were two of them. They were both full-kill.) It was perhaps the biggest finish to a Card Night we’ve ever seen. Needless to say he was the big winner, taking home $140.00. (In fact, Lyndon has been the big winner the last three times he’s played.)
A bit of Card Night minutia: Mike won jackpot tonight with a 10-high straight flush. It’s the first time anyone’s hit a 10-high straight flush (no wild cards) since we started keeping track back in 2005.
