Bill was the big winner tonight (+$99.00), despite being exhausted after getting back from vacation earlier in the day. The win catapults him into first place for the year (+$428.00).
Other than that, the rest of the news unfortunately has to do with losing:
- Glen’s losing streak now stands at five Card Nights. He has dropped into third place for the year (+$379.00). (Paul is currently in second at +$388.00.)
- Phil is in the middle of his worst losing streak ever: six Card Nights in a row.
- Mary won a $23.25 Buck ’em pot, and made a great call with two pair to win the high half of a big Omaha Hi-Lo pot, but despite that, she lost $93.00 for the night.
No one won jackpot for the second week in a row, so it now stands at $48.00, the largest it’s been in four months.
Over the weekend, Paul and Mike got into a debate as to what was the better route to take when driving to Harrah’s Rincon Casino. Mike’s way was to take Interstate 15 to the the Via Rancho Parkway exit by North County Fair. Paul’s way was to continue up Interstate 15 to the Gopher Canyon Road exit north of Escondido.
According to Google Maps, Mike’s way is 11.1 miles shorter and six minutes faster than Paul’s way.
